Coach Dave Tennison

I am the Head Coach Of the Crusaders. I have been coaching at various levels for 10+ years. I have coached at the semi pro level for about 2 1/2 years. I am grateful for the opportunity that God has given me to be a part of such a great organization. I am grateful to former owner David Taylor whom founded the Rose City Crusaders. He offered me the Head Coaching job in 2012 and I accepted. We went on to have a great season. Due to Coach Taylor relocating to Oklahoma he turned over the reigns to me. We have adopted the new name East Texas Crusaders. Well, its been a ride but I think we will do well this season. I am looking forward to heading this organization and building on what was already a solid foundation. I am the offensive guy to the organization and I love to run a number of different formations, so defensive coordinators be ready!! I like to keep it exciting. I have had the coaching duties to myself on both sides of the ball but thankful this season we added defensive coordinator Matthew Moose. He brings new flavor to the team and also has good ideas for offensive schemes to go along with mine so it should be a fun year. Well, lets get it on!! Crusader Nation!!
